 Business Development Administrative Assistant

A vacancy has arisen for an experienced Business Development Assistant. They would be responsible for the efficient running of Business Development (BD) Administration, and support the Customer Relations Department when appropriate.

The successful candidate will be expected to deliver seamless and consistent Business Development administrative support within Key Organics (KO) and to its customer base globally. They must uphold efficient time management skills by prioritising current and added work load effectively. They would organise and maintain contact details of customers and ensure correct and timely distribution of new updates and follow up enquiries.  They should be prepared to assist Business Development and Team Leaders in all customer facing activities including customer visits to Key Organics site and tradeshows.

 

All duties would be undertaken in a manner consistent with safe practice and health and safety policy.

 

 

Requirements:

 

Past experience within a BD role, good typing skills and PA experience would be considered advantageous. No scientific background is necessary; training will be provided to distinguish the services and products KO offer.

Synthetic Organic Chemist Vacancies

Key Organics is a leading global provider in the supply of high quality chemical products and contract services to the pharmaceutical, agrochemical, biotechnology sectors together with related industries and applications.

Vacancies have arisen for experienced synthetic organic chemists; working within the area of Contract and Custom Synthesis, you will be expected to take a pro-active approach and work efficiently under minimal supervision. As a member of our team of experienced chemists you will be expected to deliver a consistent, reliable and high quality service to our clients, and contribute to the on-going development of the KOCAS brand.

The successful candidates will have a PhD in organic chemistry with at least two years industrial experience or be chemistry graduates with at least five years experience in a relevant industrial field. They must have a positive, can-do attitude to work, excellent communication, team working and people skills, proven leadership skills or potential to develop, and be computer literate. Demonstrable knowledge of synthetic organic chemistry and competency in practical synthetic chemistry and analytical methods are also essential. Relevant experience in computational chemistry systems, carbohydrate and/or peptide chemistry would be highly advantageous.

These are fixed term contracts, initially for one year. Key Organics operates a Flexitime System which would apply to the successful applicant.
